We had mixed conditions throughout the practice sessions. It dried up before qualifying, so it was our first time driving in the dry.

We were unlucky in qualifying as Ash and I were both held up on our flying laps. We knew we would have our work cut out on Sunday starting P9 on the grid for the start of the race. We also had a success penalty of 15 seconds from our 2nd podium at Snetterton.

We came through the pack one by one, working our way in to the top 5 in the first half of the 3 hour race, managing to close the 15 second success penalty along the way and work our way into the lead in my final stint.

Ash and I won in the GT4s class at the Silverstone 500 – what an achievement for myself, Ash, TF Sport and the new Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
